NO CHURCH IN THE WILD

2025 Theatrical Production

The Show

MAYA Youth in Performing Arts is proud to present its 2025 Winter production - No Church in the Wild.

In a drug cartel's ruthless world, the protagonist battles prejudice and threats to ascend to power. Her struggle intensifies as she fights to maintain control, only to face disrespect from her peers. As she lies on her deathbed, her colleague's true colours emerge - some seek to claim her power, while others feign loyalty. In her final moments, she confronts the harsh reality of how power corrupts and the lengths people will go to seize it.

We are announcing TWO show dates, held at NIDA’s Parade Theatre:

  • Friday 25th July 2025 @ 7:00pm

  • Saturday 26th July 2025 @ 6:30pm
