My wife is 70 years old, and about a year ago she faced a similar situation. We live in Chilliwack itself, so we probably visited half of the local dentists. And here's what I can tell you - the difference between the clinics in Chilliwack is huge, despite the fact that they are all under the same sign "Denturists in Chilliwack, BC". Not all dentists are equally thoughtful. And not all of them really listen to the patient. At first, we ended up in a rather fashionable clinic with a bright website, modern chairs and a bunch of promises for "two visits and you have teeth." We thought it was convenient - fast, clear, inexpensive. But it turned out that haste is the enemy in this matter. The denture was made in a week, but it did not fit: my wife hurt everywhere, she could not chew, even talking became uncomfortable. We were told that it was "normal, it will go away in a couple of weeks." It did not. And then it turned out that they charge separately for each adjustment. So we left there, disappointed. Then we were recommended a small clinic called Valley Prosthetics & Denture Centre, and it was like night and day. We were met calmly, without fuss, without promises in 10 minutes. The dentist (a man of about forty, I think his name was Trevor) immediately said: "We will work until your wife is comfortable. This is not a race, but a process." First they did a 3D scan, then two fittings with wax models to take into account the shape of the gums and the bite. My wife participated in the process - she herself said what was comfortable for her, what was not. He even made temporary dentures for a couple of weeks, so that we could "live" with them and understand the sensations.

Great topic! I don't have dentures yet, but I read carefully - my aunt has a similar situation, and she lives in Sardis. I will know that denturists in Chilliwack, BC are not just "who is closer", but a question of serious choice. Thank you very much for sharing such experience.
