Panzer Strategy
The most diverse set of missions in the genre is waiting for you. There are sudden tank advances, an air war, a naval blockade and a coast landing. Each time you will have to choose the best strategy on your own.
Panzer Strategy is a World War II themed turn-based strategy game with a clean, modern look. Adapt your strategies on the fly as you attempt to take on history. Each battle and location has been recreated to feel and look exactly how it looked when it occurred. Choose your units, upgrade your powers, and set out on a path to victory. Only those gamers with at least a GeForce GTX 1050 or Radeon RX 470 will be able to pass the minimum requirements for Panzer Strategy.
I've won 4 times now with this strategy, it's actually very fun, and also very strong - you can finish the game within 20 turns(depending on how early you get them) with domination victory on standard deity, because of their incredible mobility and survivability. The only other unit that I've been able to accomplish this with is stealth bombers. My fastest finish was on turn 231, worst 325.
You actually only need your main city with heroic epic pumping out units, the rest are there for science. You can also purchase a fair amount of panzers especially with the full honor gold after war starts.
your panzers should be the strongest land unit on the map for a long time, don't get scared of big armies, all you should see is free exp + gold, you really should not be losing panzers unless you meet threats see below. things can be slow initially, once you obtain repair + blitz promotions you can kill two units in 1 turn, within a few turns you can take out entire armies.
Why this strategy works is because the math works like this: with heroic epic, discipline and a great general, you at something like +45% combat strength, you have 80 base, and another 3 terrain promotions for another +45%, this makes you a nightmare for the AI to kill, great war bombers just die and the triplanes won't even bother trying to hit you. For example my panzer gets hit by a 90 str city, and 6 GWB hits, but is still alive on red hp, proceed to pillage 3 tiles and its back to full hp.
Being older, I started with board games. Those led to early Amiga, Mac, and Win 3.1 gaming. I've been hooked on computer gaming since there's been computer gaming. I prefer strategy (4X, war, and space) and also enjoy survival games, but I have played just about everything imaginable.

In 1996, Next Generation listed it as number 51 on their "Top 100 Games of All Time", contending that though the game's interface is simple, the complexity of the strategy is exceptional.[12] In 1996, Computer Gaming World declared Panzer General the 15th-best computer game ever released,[13] and listed the Game Over scene as #8 on its list of "the 15 best ways to die in computer gaming".[14] The magazine's wargame columnist Terry Coleman named it his pick for the best computer wargame released by late 1996.[15]
Reviews for the 3DO version were generally positive. The four reviewers of Electronic Gaming Monthly remarked that the game's high level of complexity makes it difficult to get into and unappealing to anyone but enthusiasts of the genre, but that the gameplay design is solid and there is a strong dose of variety to the campaigns.[17] A critic for Next Generation argued that while the music and battle animations quickly wear thin, the game allows them to be turned off and "what it lacks in style, it makes up in substance". He made particular note of the impressive depth of the strategy and the ability to control nearly every land and aircraft used in the World War II European theater.[18] Sir Garnabus of GamePro complimented the accuracy of the 3DO port but otherwise panned the game, contending that war strategy games in general are poor due to their minimalist graphics and focus on thinking rather than acting.[21]

The guts and horror aspect are gone, but rather than a dry grand strategy piece about nations, it's about some guys trying to do a complicated job without getting everything blown up. There are hints of the influence of diplomacy and politics, but it's not a nationalism drama, nor is it very jingoistic despite the presence of many famous historical warmongers. It's understated, and even keeps out of the way most of the time. There's some pre-mission cut scenes and occasional radio conversations when you trigger a mission variable, but that's about it. It's exactly enough.
